It was Cohen herself that was inspired to start LoveShackFancy when she designed her own bridesmaids dresses for her wedding. After that she started her brand in Manhattan with a collection of fanciful silk dresses. The brand sticks to its traditional feminine identity using florals, ruffles, tiered fabric, ruching, and pastel colors like pink, purple, and white.
