Beginning his career as a shoe apprentice during his teenage years, Salvatore Ferragamo moved from Naples to California where he quickly became the go-to designer for many celebrities. Ferragamo moved back to Italy and launched his namesake brand in 1927. Today the brand is still family owned and has expanded to produce stylish and on-trend handbags, clothing, fragrances, and accessories for men and women.
