About the Brand

Louis Vuitton opened his first shop in 1854 after years of practice perfecting box and packing designs that made him a well-known figure in the travel industry. Even in the 1800’s Louis Vuitton was being copied with counterfeit goods that had the same prints such as the iconic Damier Ebene checkerboard pattern. After creating more and more handbags designed for personal use like the Alma and Speedy, Louis Vuttion has branched out to incorporate more materials and colors under the direction of Balenciaga’s Nicolas Ghesquière. Louis Vuitton remains a staple in high end fashion with the most coveted looks seen on celebrities and other major players in the fashion industry.
