Every season we shift our focus towards designer runway shows, street style, influencers, celebrities, and models to discover what colors, trends, and styles will be in style. This fall there are five trending colors we’re loving on and off the runway. Cobalt blue, fuchsia hot pink, coffee brown, marigold yellow, and kelly green are all in for autumn. We took inspiration from our favorite models, social media influencers, and artists to show you how to wear the most popular colors of the season.
1. Cobalt Blue
Rich, eye-catching, and moody, cobalt blue is in for the fall. It pairs perfectly with jeans, hot pink, hunter green, and baby blue for a monochromatic look. This color pairs effortlessly with pieces already in your wardrobe making it a beautiful transition color for all four seasons. Take inspiration from Christian Siriano with this cobalt blue, shimmer, and leather look.
Fuchsia and hot pink continue to be one of the fashion community’s most adored colors. We’ve seen this trend from Valentino, Balenciaga, YSL, Bottega Veneta and Jacquemus to name a few. From Barbiecore to Y2K style this color has been seen everywhere. This deeply saturated hue can be paired with other shades of pink, blue denim jeans, and white.
The vibes are -giving- warm and cozy, just what we need entering fall. We love this dreamy brown color because it reminds me of a warm cup of coffee on a crisp fall day. The best part is you can take this color from fall to winter because it's a neutral tone that works for multiple seasons. Pair this soothing color with other shades of brown like caramel, beige, and camel. This color also couples well with navy blue or burgundy.
A stunning bright and dramatic color for fall, marigold is beloved by most fashionistas. Marigold holds a significant meaning in Hispanic culture, being a key color in the celebration of El Dia de los Muertos which falls on November 1, 2022. It’s also a great transitional piece, bringing the cheery hues from summer to a richer, darker vibe for fall.
This bold and modish color has been trending for a few years thanks to the Bottega Veneta Jodie bag and we’re here for it. We love the way Hailey Bieber wears it with her Bottega Veneta Pouch. It’s a color that emulates confidence and strength, but also playfulness and spirit.
