LoveShackFancy was founded in 2013 by Creative Director Rebecca Hessel Cohen. The brand is inspired by vintage pieces with an emphasis on whimsical styles. It was Cohen herself that was inspired to start LoveShackFancy when she designed her own bridesmaids dresses for her wedding. After that she started her brand in Manhattan with a collection of fanciful silk dresses. The brand sticks to its traditional feminine identity using florals, ruffles, tiered fabric, ruching, and pastel colors like pink, purple, and white.
